The El Paso Hostel at Gardner Hotel

The El Paso Hostel at Gardner Hotel opened back in 1984, and has been serving travelers from around the globe since then! A stay in the hostel is ideal for solo travelers or groups of friends who want to enjoy the downtown location and Hotel’s history, but on a budget.

Centrally situated near to all the tourist attractions in the city centre, we are conveniently located for you to enjoy all that El Paso has to offer, whatever interests you may have. We have a selection of rooms and facilities including a communal self-service kitchen for those staying in the hostel so you can make your own meals or prepare for daytrips, a dining area to meet other travelers and share a meal, and a games room with a pool table to socialize.

Please note – we are located in a prime downtown location area which means during the weekends, in particular, there is a lot of night life in El Paso. Noise may be present at times, so go out, have some fun, and make good use of your guest discounts perks at our neighborhood bars and restaurants. Or, if you are all partied out, we have free earplugs available at the front desk!

We have been recognized for excellence by Lonely Planet and Harvard University (Let’s Go), along with other awards. You may have seen us on Hotel Impossible, when we receive a makeover on our hostel rooms on the Travel Channel!
